Degree from Queen’s University in Mining Engineering. 2014 Co-Winner of AME BC’s prestigious EA Scholtz Award for Excellence in Mine Development at the New Afton mine.

Kellie Johnston

20 years of legal and sustainability experience, including practicing regulatory and environmental law, leading the ESG practice group in Canada for a global law firm and acting in senior ESG-based roles in the energy industry.  Holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta, a Bachelor of Laws degree from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia and a Master of Laws degree (Distinction), specializing in International Law, from the University of New South Wales in Australia, a certificate in Corporate Citizenship Management from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP).

Neil Currie

Neil Currie is a recipient of BIV’s 2024 Forty Under 40 award. With 18 years of experience in the Canadian small-cap finance industry, Neil is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Capital Event Management (CEM) and CEM Partners Fund, roles he has held since 2010. Under his leadership, CEM has organized 95 investment conferences, facilitating over $1 billion in transactions. Neil has also successfully orchestrated four Reverse Takeover (RTO) listings on the TSX Venture Exchange, raising more than $60 million.

As President of Trico Communities, Patrick oversees the strategy, asset, and property management of residential and commercial rentals, senior living facilities, and investment portfolios. His leadership has been instrumental in the development of over 700 residential units and state-of-the-art senior living communities, all while upholding the Chiu Family and Trico motto: “doing well by doing good”.
